A sit-down dinner, our popular buffet-style reception, or simply champagne and appetizers may be arranged.
Restaurant:
La Buena Vida, one of Akumal’s favorite restaurants, also offers an enchanting dining room on the upper level, where guests may dine under authentic thatched palm leaf palapa roof and enjoy panoramic views. View some of our reception menus here.
Music:
The local 7 member mariachi band is a popular way to kick off the festivities at your reception.
Please note that amplified music of any kind (DJ or live band) will require a music permit applied and paid for in advance. Please inquire for pricing on this option.
Lively music is played regularly at the restaurant and can be enjoyed by everyone.
If you rent the upstairs dining room for a private event you may bring your own playlist and speakers or rent our PA system with mic and speakers.
Cake:
Wedding cakes, baked locally, are available in a range of sizes to suit your reception needs. At least two days’ notice is required for cake orders and plating by our staff is free of charge.
Floral:
A wide range of floral treatments are available for your wedding ceremony and reception, including: bouquets, corsages, arbors, and table centerpieces. Our coordinator can give you a list of recommended vendors in the area. Your flowers will be delivered on your wedding day.
